Community
Community is part of the practice.
BOM is being built as a place for women to move, learn, gather, and feel supported — not only in their bodies, but in the lives they are building around them.

A BOM gathering
Movement +
Breath
An afternoon of movement, guided breathwork, and time to be in good company. Kate will lead you through a movement series, and Marguerite will guide us through a breathwork session.
Our breathwork guide is Marguerite Nesteruk, founder of Resonating Earth. A certified breathwork guide, herbalist, and Reiki Master, Marguerite brings a deep connection to nature and whole-person wellbeing to her work. She will stay afterward for conversation and connection with everyone gathered.
Bring a mat and something warm to wear if it's a cool evening.

Gatherings
Taking shape, quietly.
Classes, conversations, workshops, shared meals, walks, and occasional retreats are taking shape. The first invitations will be shared with the interest list as details are confirmed.
Small rooms, chosen tables. The most important work of BOM happens off the feed — among women who trust each other's company. Come back soon, or join the list to be part of what comes next.
01
Move together
Small-group movement, outdoor walks, and practices shaped around the women in the room.
02
Learn together
Thoughtful conversations and workshops spanning nourishment, sleep, strength, and the changing body.
03
Gather well
Shared tables, local experiences, and occasional retreats designed for unhurried connection.

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation.”
Audre Lorde
The BOM Circle
The women beside you.
An opt-in space, in development, where members can find and connect with other women through shared interests, places, professions, practices, or seasons of life. It will open once there are enough of us to make it feel alive.
Private by default
Opt-in profiles only. A first name, a general area rather than an address, and nothing shared without a member choosing to share it.
Connection with intent
Members find one another through shared interests, seasons of life, practices, places, or professional ground — not through a public feed.
Held, not hosted
Contact details stay hidden. Introductions happen through BOM first, with moderation and a clear way to report or step back.

The Journal · N° 01 · On strength
Why we stopped calling it a workout.
There is a moment in a woman's forties when the language of the gym stops fitting. It sounds like a wardrobe from another life. What replaces it isn't softer — it's more precise.
The archive
Letters, in order.
A new letter arrives roughly once a fortnight. No newsletter, no marketing — a note when a piece is ready, and only then.
N° 02 · On hormones
The construction site of perimenopause.
Perimenopause is not a decline. It is a renovation — walls coming down, load-bearing beams being rearranged. The body is not broken. It is being rebuilt.
9 min · In draftN° 03 · On the room
What a well-built room asks of the body.
The rooms we live in teach us how to hold ourselves. Ceiling height, floor material, the quality of the light — architecture, quietly, is a training plan.
5 min · In draftN° 04 · On slowness
The luxury of the long practice.
We are told to hurry the body — bounce back, snap back, get results. But the body worth having at seventy is built at a much slower speed than the body sold on a January feed.
4 min · In draftA quiet note
The community grows by introduction.
BOM is not looking for followers. It is looking for the next woman worth gathering. If that is you, begin with a note.
